Welcome to my personal web page. I am an economist specialized in the interrelation between agricultural and environmental policy. After ten years doing research in Universities across the world, I am dedicated to deploying the newest technologies to map trends in the use of land for agricultural activities. The most exciting part of my work is traveling to rural areas and talking to the people that produce our everyday food.
Besides working as a consultant and academic researcher, I teach on the broad topics of agricultural development and quantitative approaches to land use systems. I hold a Post-Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Teaching from the London School of Economics. I have also served as an author to the Brazilian Panel on Climate Change.
